As you all may well know Mr. Jackson is the leading author of "Conservative Combacks to Liberal Lies" and has been spreading the truth regarding our countries fallacious "conservatives" and "pro-family" organizations such as the Massachusetts Family Institute and Focus on the Family.

Mr. Enyart and Mr. Jackson discuss how Sean Hannity, one of those "conservative pro-lifers", has been spreading lies regarding former MA Governor Mitt Romney's socialist health care bill. The bill includes a $50 tax-subsidized co-pay to slaughter children, better known as abortion, as a healthcare benefit. Proof Source: Healthcare Benefit.

Mr. Jackson called into the Sean Hannity radio show yesterday to ask Sean why he continues to support Romney eventhough the former governor supports abortion. Sean just could not answer the question.

Under the new act "perceived and actual sexual orientation and gender identity (would be added) to categories protected under federal law against discrimination."

What do you think is going to happen if a man whom has "changed" into a woman or vice-versa is allowed to use an opposite sex bathroom or locker room? What if I "perceive" myself to be a women? What will stop me from wanting to use the ladies bathroom or locker-room? What sort of rules are going to be enforced to prove my sexual identity? If I "perceive" myself as a woman and I clearly look like a man with all the "parts", and I have changed my MA state drivers license to indicate that I am a women, why can't I go see some tale in the ladies room without being questioned? If I am questioned can I sue for discrimination?

Sounds like a slithery and slippery slope to me.

I think it is important to always look back on events in our lives and analyze them carefully even if they bring back hurtful memories. One specific event in my life that I have looked back on is the Marriage Amendment campaign in Massachusetts that failed on June 24, 2007 at the Constitutional Convention.

Prior to this day in history many facts about Vote on Marriage, the "pro-family" organization now known as the Coalition for Marriage & Family that orchastrated the amendment process along with the Massachusetts Family Institute (MFI), have come to light. There is no other easier way to present this information to you other than for you to read the facts that are clearly spelled out in a rebuttle to an e-mail to Tom Shields, former board member of Massachusetts Family Institute and Vote on Marriage.

Many of you will take this info "as a grain of salt", others will not even read 25% of it because they have been told by Kris Mineau, President of the Mass. Family Institute, that they did all they could to preserve marriage in Massachusetts. A lot of you have deep ties to the Coalition and MFI and have spent countless hours in their offices doing voluntary work to protect the traditional family. The info below will be mocked, manipulated and disenvowed. All I ask of you is to refute what is being said. Nothing more, nothing less. Help me understand where the facts go awry.

Fistgate: Indoctrinating Your CHILDREN

I have reported on some pretty bizarre and abnormal topics regarding the radical homosexual community. I, for one, have never been so speechless and numb after listening to actual audiotape (released for the first time after a failed lawsuit by GLSEN to keep them covered-up) over what radical homosexual instructors were teaching children during a March 25, 2000 Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) workshop. The workshop included homosexual activists (who were state employees) and children as young as 12. Children were bussed in from around the state to listen to homosexual activist describe how to engage in various types of homosexual activity.

I must warn you that the tapes you are about to listen to describe in detail what your son or daughter may hear one day if they get involved with any GLSEN sponsored group in their schools.

A Lesson on Tolerance

A caller from Andover, Ma called this past Tuesday, 5/12/09, into the Jim & Margery show on 96.9 FM WTKK. The caller successfully refuted Jim's claim that homosexuals are born gay in which Jim cited the American Psychological Association (APA) to prove his point that homosexuals are born gay. As I was listening to this I thought about the fact that there is no conclusive evidence to prove that homosexuals are born gay and that the APA just recently changed their position on the 'gay gene' theory.

I had to e-mail Jim at the WTKK website with the following comments:

It is funny,Jim, how you tried, and failed mind you, to refute the caller from Andover and his claim that people are NOT born gay on Tuesday's May 12th, 2009 show. Why don't you have the podcast available of this call (Click HERE to see that it is not available) such that others can hear your "tolerance of the opposition", but yet you hang up on the caller from Andover sounding like the "tolerant" talk show host that you claim to be.

Before you DON'T publish this comment (on your website), I strongly suggest that you look at the most recent position that the American Psychological Association (APA) has taken on the 'gay gene' theory. The APA just recently stated the following in a brochure called, "Answers to Your Questions for a Better Understanding of Sexual Orientation & Homosexuality". Ironically an article published on WorldNetDaily on Tuesday the 12th discussed this issue in detail and essentially refuted what Jim, and many others, have claimed regarding the 'gay gene' theory. Now, if only Jim could be a talk show host who could do his homework before his show. If Jim could just express just a little bit of open-mindedness to callers who don't agree with what he says then maybe more people could engage in a discussion on the show without being hung-up on because of differing opinions.

Jim, what was that word you used before you let the caller go..."tolerance", which is defined as:

The endurance of the presence or actions of objectionable persons, or of the expression of offensive opinions; toleration.

Your show would be a lot better, Jim, if you just let people express their opinion and not rely on yours as the only one that exists.

The next pillar is the falling of Mass. Family Institute (MFI) as the Commonwealth comes to grips to how Kris Mineau and Mitt Romney decieved us into thinking same-sex "marriages" are "legal" in Massachusetts.

Kris Mineau, you are a lier just like Mr. Heath and you ARE being exposed for it. You call yourself a man of God...please!

Of course He didn't. I can't figure out how Mike could call that Biblical. But hey, Tony "The Perk" Perkins is answerring the big questions from here on out. That's the beauty of arrangements like this.

So Mike Heath changed his group's name from Maine Civic League to Maine's Family Policy Council and started promoting Tony Perkins/FRC aggressively. Pretty much a flat out 180 away from the facts Mike knows to be true. I guess sometimes money talks and Jesus walks, eh?"

"I believe there may be numerous cases of Ruddy and/or Romney and his bagmen channelling money by sponsoring the salaries of key personnel at such groups. I know of two clear cases: Ruddy paid the salaries of a former Mass Citizens for Life president who did independant work for Ruddy lobbying the MA legislature. This man is a friend of mine and he openly opposed Romney and was not silenced by the money, but was prevented from doing his job agressively and finally resigned. He was unaware that Ruddy was Romney's bagman.

Ruddy also paid the salary of Rob O'Brian, and placed him as Mass Citizens for Life's Director of Development. I have talked to Rob several times and I think he also was sincere. I do not know whether his salary was on the MCFL books. If not, Ruddy (and also Romney) may have used this method as another means of hiding their payoffs. There may be many cases of salaries or other expenses being paid for by Ruddy or Romney or by other persons or organizations that will not show up in the books of the groups that they silences about Romney's actions on marriage, abortion, sodomy brainwashing, etc."

After marinating the parking lot of the Skyline Restaurant in Quincy last Saturday afternoon with fliers explaining how Kris Mineau helped "legalize" same-sex "marriages" (SS"M") in MA, I experienced first hand how the TRUTH can scare one into action. Mr. Mineau, President of the Massachusetts Family Institute, ordered his minions to go out to the parking lot and take all of the fliers off of the parked car's windshields.

Now, I should of brought my video camera, in which I will do next time, to show the rest of you how petrified Mr. Mineau is of the truth. Why would Kris be so adamant about not wanting others to read a flier regarding how he and former MA governor Mitt Romney helped "legalize" SS"M" in MA? If Kris was so comfortable with the fairy-tale that he did not help "legalize" SS"M", why did he interupt a fundraiser and have people go out and steal fliers off of windshields? I mean, if I knew for a fact that I was NOT responsible for something than I would fluff off the idea of even considering to waste my time, especially during a fundraiser, to stop any literature from being circulated.

As Proposition 8 passed victoriously in California on election day by a margin of 52% - 48%, many "married" same-sex couples could see their "wedding" vows crumbling. With about 18,000 same-sex "marriages" already on the books, Tuesdays victory for traditional marriage just may deem those "marriages" null and void. The chances of this are tight, but many legal battles on both sides of the fence are definate.

Many opponents of Proposition 8 have already filed suit with the California Supreme Court in order to "invalidate" the constitutional amendment suggesting that it is unconstitutional.

Many same-sex "marriages" occured before they were banned by the state of California, but one "marriage" ceremony was right from the "government run indoctrination camp" handbook. The "marriage" ceremony between teacher Erin Carder and her partner Kerri McCoy (Inset Picture) on October 10, 2008 involved eighteen first graders taking a fieldtrip to City Hall to throw flowers at their just "married" teacher.

As you all know my staff and I are stout supporters of traditional marriage. We strongly agree every state should have a right to vote on the definition of marriage and not one judge holds the legal role to undermine the decision of the people when it comes to a constitutional amendment. If a constitutional amendment is approved by the people and for the people, no lawsuit on the face of the planet can reverse such an approval. If the people have spoken, whom may be either gay or straight, the result of the vote is final. Period. End of story. For those fighting to continue gay "marriage" in CA...don't be such poor losers. You have Massachusetts to play "marriage" in until someone on Beacon Hill realizes that same-sex "marriages" are illegal in MA after all. If this ever becomes a reality, I do believe that all of those "marriages" since May 17, 2004 should be deemed null and void because they were and still are illegal.

As for the children being exposed to the radical and unhealthy "marriage" ceremony between their teachers: Why can't their be fieldtrips to traditional marriage ceremonies? Do you ever here of that happening or is this just another ploy by the radical homosexual community to try and justify their dangerous sexual proclivity to the younger generation? Why is the same-sex couples "wedding" ceremony dangerous to these children you might ask. Well, for starters the importance of a man and a women in a family is downplayed and the concept of "anything goes" is drilled into the child's mind when it comes to whom they can choose to marry later in life. This means that the child is potentially thinking that hey, a mommy and a daddy are not as important to the family as I am being told at home. The image portrayed to the children who watched the ceremony is love should come first and not the beliefs that my parents teach me when deciding what a life partner is. The ceremony also strongly suggests that engaging in abnormal relationships is O.K. even though it could lead me to some very dangerous lifestyle choices.

Anyway, all of this is not going to matter to these 5 and 6-year-olds in the very near future because they will soon understand that same-sex "wedding" ceremonies are illegal for a reason and the teachers "marriage" is null and void. As a result of this the children will come off of the glorified government run indoctrination bandwagon and realize that a mommy and a daddy are the only two genders that can marry and whom can build healthy families for generations to come.

Let The People Vote and the fantasy trip stops and life moves on.

California voters will ONCE again be able to vote on the definition of marriage one week from this upcoming Tuesday. Voters will be able to cast their ballots on Proposition 8 which states the following:

"Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid and recognized in California."

61% of California voters approved a measure in 2001, Proposition 22, with the EXACT 14 letters as stated above. My question is why are they voting on it again???

It has already been established in a crystal clear format that gay "marriage" is NOT legal in the U.S. and can NOT be approved or disaproved of by ANY judicial system. (please refer to my post "Facts Do Not Cease To Exist Because They Are Ignored." - Aldous Huxley" for further details.)

A Tragic Loss

My good Christian brother, OMD, had lost a very wonderful person in his life earlier this month. Carolyn, nicknamed CK, died on August 16th, 2008 and was the girlfriend of OMD's youngest son.

The details of the loss will be explained by OMD on his blog very soon, but for now please pray for CK and her restfull place in the bosom of Christ.

O.K., so let me get this straight. The parents and brother of this 15-year-old student are taking the first steps needed in order to potentially file a lawsuit against E.O. Green Junior High because they think that the school is responsible for his murder.
1. Why are the parents NOT taking any of the blame especially when this child was at a shelter for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children at the time of the shooting? Where were the parents in order to prevent Larry from having to be sheltered?????? A childs upbringing starts at home Dawn and Gregory not when you leave your child at the school's front doorstep.
2. If Larry was NOT allowed to wear makeup and high heels because the school decided to enforce their dress code, which would blatenly go against Larry's First Amendment rights, do you think Dawn and Gregory and son would file a lawsuit anyway? ..............YES!!!
Look, this case is tragic, very tragic, but why are the parents blamming the school system for Larry's death when they could of PREVENTED his death by not having their son leave the shelter in the morning with Chanel #9 on??? If the parents knew Larry's situation was a problem at school and the school was not taking action because Larry's First Amendment rights would be violated if they did, why didn't the parents ENFORCE some sort of discipline upon Larry and PREVENT him from wearing a dress?? Would the shelter NOT allow the parents to have a say in what they wanted for their son??
My prediction: This case is going to be LAUGHED out of court, but on the other hand let's pray for Larry and his family who are struggling with the death of their son.

A Change of Plans

All my years in politics and journalism has lead me to make my latest career move. I have been pondering upon this change of careers for quite some time now, and after talking with my colleagues, family and many of my closest friends in Washington, I have made a decision to leave Know Thy Facts, Not Thy Neighbors (KTFNTN) in order to make a difference. I know it may be late in the game, but America needs someone who will stand up for traditional marriage and family and fight for a federal amendment to the U.S. Constitution to protect marriage as we know it.

Thank you all for your comments on this blog and for your passion to speak your thoughts and express your opinions to us all.

KTF will still be active, but without my commentary. My staff will take over and will keep you all up to date as to what the marriage front brings us.

The Massachusetts Senate, AKA Gomorha, caved into the homosexual lobby and "passed" a bill to repeal a 1913 law banning out-of-staters from marrying in MA. Somehow, someway, and ONCE AGAIN, the homosexual community has juxtiposed their cause with the civil rights movement of the 1960's and brainwashed the public into thinking that the 1913 law has to do with interracial marriage and therefore the law is discriminatory.

Let's get TWO things straight here. 1. This 1913 law has NOTHING to do with discrimination. 2. Gay "marriage", as of May 17, 2004, is STILL illegal in Massachusetts.

So, before reading the news briefs on this 1913 law below please provide FACTUAL and LEGALLY BINDING evidence that 1. the 1913 law HAS something to do with racism and/or discrimination and 2. How gay "marriage" became "legal" in MA.

Please stop with the falacious opinions that the judicial system makes law, ect, ect. You all just sound so intellectually lazy. One who is married may love a third party more that one's spouse, but one cannot marry the third party. Children can love but cannot marry. Many people love pets, but they cannot marry them. Hence, homosexual love is not the only love ineligible for marriage. Harriet Bernstein went on a retreat eight years ago and met her future partner Luisa Paster. Bernstein and Paster formalized their love for one another, a few months after New Jersey legalized civil unions for same-sex partners. They in turn asked to be unionized at a Methodist retreat center, formally known as Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association. The association turned their request down based on their religious belief that marriage is between a man and a women and not between two lesbian lovers.

"When Bernstein and Paster asked to celebrate their civil union in the pavilion, the Methodist organization said they could marry on the boardwalk — anywhere but buildings used for religious purposes. In other words, not the pavilion. (the Rev. Scott Hoffman, the group's administrator) says there was a theological principle at stake."

Although this story has been around for awhile and most of you may or may not have read about it, the precedent it sets is quite dangerous and very much so unconstitutional. Will the teachings in any church regarding the sinful nature of homosexuality be the only thing that will be protected under the Constitution or will religious institutions, and their accompanying estates, have to be subjected to the same rules as any public institution or property? It sounds to me that this case will potentially force ALL religious institutions to reside over same-sex "marriages"/unions or face a civil rights lawsuit. So, in turn freedom of religion, along with traditional marriages and families, will become obsolete unless we ALL speak up and fight this rediculousness.

Jennifer Pizer, a senior counsel at Lambda, a gay rights law group, painted a picture for everyone as if we were all born yesterday when she said:

"Groups that are worried that something new will interrupt their ability to function the way they are functioning will soon see that [gay marriage] will not change the rules that govern their public activities. Those rules have been in place and work just fine."

And why then, Ms. Pizer, are religious institutions being attacked and redefined to fit the sexual desires of same-sex couples? Sorry, we are a little bit smarter than that.

John Haskins of the Underground Journal had some eye-opening facts for Gary, one of my many readers of my blog. Gary claimed that the U.S. Judiciary System can "expand" our laws and that "when a court makes a ruling that interprets the law, the legislative and executive branch are required to enforce that law." Well, Mr. Haskins gave Gary an educational lesson on what our court system can and CAN NOT do in regards to enforcing laws when it comes to controversial topics such as same-sex "marriages".

Gary wrote the following on May 22nd, 2008 in my post titled "Still Illegal Coast to Coast".

Gary:

"The judicial branch does not technically make law, but by interpreting current law, their rulings (obviously) change how law is applied."

John Haskins:

"No, not "obviously" to the Founding Fathers, Lincoln, Andrew Jackson, (and)many top professors of jurisprudence and anyone who bypasses the lies of mercenary ABA-approved courtroom prostitutes (who) dare to read our constitutions.

It is mainly cowardly pseudo-conservative lawyers and law professors who prop up these lies so adamently and stubbornly. A court opinion is an impotent abstraction, utterly without force. In itself it changes nothing. Constitutionally, nothing will change unless and until the executive (or the legislative branch in the case of opinions about the constitutionality of existing statutes) agrees and acts accordingly. The executive branch has the EXCLUSIVE power of the sword and the Legislature has the EXCLUSIVE power of the purse. Even the most liberal justices in communist states like Massachusetts freely admit this. They have recently ruled that the executive branch MUST continue to enforce the statutes until they are revoked by the LEGISLATURE!

Every member of the executive branch from governors and presidents down to town clerks swear a solemn oath in God's Holy name to uphold state and federal CONSTITUTIONS and to execute the STATUTES as written. Licensed attorneys swear the same oath! No one anywhere swears any oath to execute judge's rulings and opinions. In every case the executive branch is absolutely and solemnly obliged to determine whether a court finding is in conformity with the Constitution and statutes or not. If not, it is legally a dead opinion, even if the executive branch believes and acts otherwise."

Gary:

"A court's ruling can "expand" the law. This isn't really something to debate since it's happened over and over again."

John Haskins:

"It's not something for courtroom prostitutes to debate because they have lied to themselves so many times they can't think straight. No matter how smart you think you are or how "conservative" you think you are Gary, you are a robotic, mindless drone for the totalitarian left.

The fundamental distinction between what the law is and what merely happens on the street because members of the executive branch use the power of the sword is being blurred by cowardly, mercenary fake "conservatives" who are ruthlessly subverting constitutional rule of law because they want only to be free to pursue their own monetary and professional advancement while still being admired as principled "conservative" heroes.

A court has absolutely zero power to "expand" the law. The day they pretend to "expand" the law to sieze your property Gary, your children or you as a person and deprive YOU of your unalienable rights as enumerated in the Supreme Law of the United States and the fifty states will be the day your absurd, self-serving pseudo-pragmatism will come to a sudden halt."

Gary:

"Also, based on some of your (Scia's) conclusions, I'm guessing that you're not a law professor."

John Haskins:

"Also, based on your cowardly lies and confusion of dictatorship with the rule of law, I'm guessing you are a lawyer. As a nationally known former law dean told me "The last people to ask about constitutions and separation of powers are lawyers. Most are brainwashed and have no clue."

Gary:

"And marriage has been termed a "civil right" (or "fundamental" right) for quite a while. While the court cases obviously don't reference marriage for gays and lesbians, the decisions do refer to the right to marry as a civil right. So, there's your answer. This isn't debatable. It's just historical fact."

John Haskins:

"Thanks, Gary. If you had a clue about the basic principles of law you'd know that every term in a statute or constitution has a meaning determined by the intent at the point of ratificiation by those who ratified it. "Marriage" is a pre-defined legal concept with thousands of years of affirmation of its precise meaning. That legal term in the MA and CA constitutions and statutes has a fixed meaning that no judge or executive can fudge. "Marriage" as a legal term in English, Canadian and American common law and in American state and federal constitutions means one man-one woman. This is settled. If "marriage" is a civil right between an unrelated adult man and woman that does not constitutionally or statutorilly include a totally contrary or counterfeit concept that judges or anyone else can cleverly merge into the actual right of marriage as plainly defined in actual law ratified by the people or their elected representatives in the exclusively empowered law-making body.

A man and a dog do not qualify as a legal "marriage" under statutes and constitutions that may countenance marriage as a fundamental right that may be exercised between an adult man and an unrelated adult woman. A flower and a bicycle and a rock do not qualify for a legal "marriage." A father and his daughter don't qualify constitutionally or statutorilly as a marriage. Two persons of the same sex do not qualify. That does not fit the LEGAL definition of "marriage."

Many courts have affirmed this. Mixed-race male-female couples DO qualify, for obvious reasons that do not apply to two persons of the same gender. What a number you have done on your own brain in order to stay abreast of the waves of perversion and tyranny. This selling of the soul culminates in taking the Mark of the Beast, selling one's soul for short-lived earthly security and riches. That's quite a deal you've got yourself, Gary!"

Gary:

"Skinner v. Oklahoma (1942) The U.S. Supreme Court first referred to the right to marry as "one of the basic civil rights." Perez v. Sharp (1948) In this case, the California Supreme Court was the first in the 20th century to declare that its state law prohibiting marriage between interracial couples was unconstitutional. The Court said: "Marriage is thus something more than a civil contract subject to regulation by the state; it is a fundamental right of free men."Loving v. Virginia (1967) The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that laws prohibiting marriage between interracial couples were unconstitutional. The Court said: "The freedom to marry has long been recognized as one of the vital personal rights essential to the orderly pursuit of happiness by free men."

John Haskins:

"Your entire argument is not at all funny, but it is superficial and bogus. Your bending over backwards to oblige the frightful powers of this creeping dictatorship that cloaks itself in the thinnest veneer of legality. You are a dangerous man.

Go back to storing up earthly treasures, Gary. But hurry up and get what you can before the world ends and we are all judged for our dishonesty, greed and ruthless moral cowardice."

Now, that was a verbal filleting that will go down in the record books.

Still Illegal Coast to Coast

Although there were celebrations amongst the homosexual community at San Francisco City Hall, and here in Massachusetts, the reality of it all is that same-sex "marriages" are NOT legal in one state of this union, not one.

The California Supreme Court ruled this past Thursday that same-sex "marriages" are to be ALLOWED in the state, but did not rule they were legal in the state, as creating law is not the role of the court system. The people will decide the fate of marriage at the ballot box this upcoming November.

As reported in the New York Times:

"The ban on same-sex marriage was based on a law enacted in 1977 and a statewide initiative approved by the voters in 2000, both defining marriage as limited to unions between a man and a woman."

In California, it is Gov. Schwarzenegger's constitutionally sworn duty to ignore the CA Supreme Court's recent opinion and make clear to the citizens of California that same-sex "marriages" are not "legal" until and unless the voters either amend the constitution or pass a law via our elected officials to amend the current marriage statutes to accommodate said same-sex "marriages".

In Massachusetts former Gov. Mitt Romney illegally issued same-sex "marriage" licenses without an accompanying statute claiming the "court legalized same-sex marriages" and that he was just "following a court order."

The Goodridge court in Massachusetts never claimed they were creating a new marriage law. In fact they said so in their opinion:

"We conclude, as did the judge, that M.G.L. c. 207 may not be construed to permit same-sex couples to marry."

In a joint letter to Governor Mitt Romney from pro-family leaders many asked the governor to immediately order all "marriage" licenses illegal.

It was not an "activist" or "rogue" court that instituted same-sex "marriages" in Massachusetts even though the judges should have been impeached for even hearing the case because they lacked subject matter according to Article 5 of the MA Constitution. It was Mitt Romney and Mitt Romney ONLY who illegally installed same-sex "marriages" in Massachusetts (or at least the perception that "gay marriage" is "legal") which has led to all sorts of violations of parent's rights (David Parker), religious liberty, and rampant homosexual indoctrination starting in kindergarten. This is a VITAL distinction! Romney was/is the Founding Father of same-sex "marriage" in the United States of America!

Romney had the obligation to ignore the Goodridge decision at the very least and then to call for impeaching the rogue judges as he was advised to do by numerous constitutional scholars (which he chose not to do).

Kris Mineau, executive director of the conservative group the Massachusetts Family Institute, call(ed) the decision (in California) “an attack on democracy.”

O.K., so let me get this straight. Californians voted in 2000 to ban same-sex "marriages" from becoming legal. The California Supreme Court ruled this past Thursday that the ban on gay "marriage" is unconstitutional. The people voted and the courts interpreted marriage as a constitutional civil right for all.

As I have said time and time again on my blog, the courts APPLY the law, they do not CREATE the law. Civil rights come from the democratic process, not lawsuits and court decisions. The people or their elected representatives vote to give particular claims the legal status of civil rights. That's called the "consent of the governed".

In Massachusetts same-sex "marriage" was NEVER approved by the people at the ballot box and was rejected by the people's elected representatives in the state legislature and ignored by our former governor. In both California and Massachusetts those who want same-sex "marriage" to be treated as a civil right and its opponents to be punished as bigots lack democracy's backing. The people of both states never voted to make same-sex "marriage" a civil right. Period!

The issue is not about whether civil rights should be put to a vote, but about voting whether to elevate same-sex "marriage" to the level of a civil right in the first place. Deciding civil rights is the people's civil right not the courts.

With the state of California already with 1 million signatures to put the definition of marriage on the ballot in November, it is a no brainer that California will become the 27th

state in the union to constitutionally ban same-sex "marriages". The homosexual community will soon come to find that they can not depend on activist judges and lazy governors to legalize their sexual proclivities because that is UNCONSTITUTIONAL in America. In a democracy the legislative branch that represents the people decide the laws and not those in black robes. Although radical homosexuals think they have won a victory with the California and Massachusetts decision, they will soon come to grips that their victory will be short lived.

It seems that the homosexual community who is fighting for the very same thing that they stamped out this week, free speech, civil rights, are very intolerant of opposing viewpoints regarding their dangerous lifestyle and will go to length to shut out anyone who heralds these opposing viewpoints.

Mr. Sorba was invited by the Smith Republican Club to speak about his opinion and the studies on the "gay gene", but the event was crashed by those who think their opinion only counts. Why does the homosexual community not tolerate any opposing viewpoints regarding the cause of their dangerous lifestyle? The scientific community is trying to find out the cause of homosexuality and may someday find that it is actually genetically based. If that was the case I would personally shut down this website. All of the studies on the cause of homosexuality point either to it being a personal choice as a result of an abusive childhood or as a result of the "gay gene". It therefore has been and continues to be found that the cause of homosexuality is UNKNOWN regardless of what you or I say, feel or have personally experienced.

Hopefully someday the cause of homosexuality will be determined, such that we can put this issue to rest.

Michael Jones, Principal at Lexington High School, sent out a letter to all parents concerning the upcoming Day of Silence event that is going to be held at the school on April 30th of next week.

It is unfortunate that people can not articulate their opinions without offending others in the fashion of swastikas and homophobic remarks and markings on high school property. This type of behavior should not be tolerated and I hope your school and the authorities will find the perpetrators who spread such "hate speech" at your school.
In regards to the Day of Silence, I was wondering if the Day of Truth would of been recognized at Lexington High School on April 28th, two days before the Day of Silence since this also falls into the category of "free speech is a Constitutionally protected right in public high schools..." as quoted by you in your letter to us parents. In regards to Mr. Jones' letter, I, and other pro-marriage and family groups, just have a few questions that we would like answered:

1. The letter states that Lexington High School can not promote or adopt a political position as it is a public institution. The act of students (and even staff) being silent all day is a clear promotion and adoption of the political messages that are being advocated for during the event. The event is unquestionably organized by school staff and just by having the Day of Silence indicates that the school agrees with what the Day of Silence stands for and that is the glorification and acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle.

I thought "no outside groups will be allowed to promote or support the Day of Silence, or to oppose it" as indicated towards the end of the letter. How is this being done when GLSEN, a national organization which targets kids in the public schools is promoting the event with the Gay/Straight Alliance club at Lexington High?

2. So, if the Day of Silence is protected under the "free speech is a Constitutionally protected right in public high schools" category and this "applies to all students, whatever their opinion", but "no outside groups will be allowed to promote or support the Day of Silence, or to oppose it", how do all these statements not contradict each other?

3. Mr. Jones states that "hate speech" -- i.e., criticism of the Day of Silence or homosexuality -- is "subject to legal constraints". Oh, I see. So, anyone who engages in some type of civil discourse about constructive criticism about homosexuality and disagrees with the dangerous lifestyle is going to be "subject to legal constraints"? Can you do that when "free speech is a Constitutionally protected right in public high schools"? Very interesting!!!!

4. Mr. Jones says that people may wear buttons or stickers expressing their personal views. A few years ago at Lexington High a girl with a one-man-one-woman marriage sticker was assaulted by pro-gay students on the Day of Silence. And others were severely harassed and intimidated. The school did nothing. Why did the school not reprimand those students who assaulted the girl?

5. And then the final insult: "the distribution of religious materials is not appropriate during the school day." There has been a lot of blatantly anti-religious material distributed by the homosexual groups. The event itself is essentially anti-religious in the eyes of many parents. Why can the homosexual community distribute anti-religious material, but Christians can not distribute Christian material?

Normalizing Transgenderism for Children

Dr. Norman Spack of Children's Hospital in Boston has started a new clinic at the hospital that gives 9 to 10 year-old children the option for treatments that change their bodies to the opposite sex. The clinic is for those children who are suffering from the psychiatric disorder known as gender identity disorder. If a 9 year-old does not FEAL that they are of the sex into which they were born as, then they can have the option to take drugs that would block puberty and then have the option to alter their genitalia later in life.

Don't Silence the Truth

The Day of Truth was established by the Alliance Defense Fund, ADF, to counter the promotion of homosexuality from a Christian perspective, which will be done across the country next Tuesday, April 28th, 2008. The Day of Truth is three days after the Day of Silence, a day in which students remain silent in order to bring attention to the homosexual agenda, which I don't understand how that could happen if people remain silent.

Lexington Superintendent Paul Ash is under fire for the new diversity curriculum the superintendent will introduce to his kindergarten through fifth grade students next year at Estabrook Elementary School.

Mr. Ash just recently received threats from New Jersey-based Hal Turner's internet talk show in the likes of:

"I would laugh if concerned fathers donned ski masks and gloves, took a ride over to the this arrogant (expletive) house and knock the living (expletive) out of him."

Mr. Ash also received an e-mail from a concerned parent earlier last week over the new diversity curriculum for next years kindergarten through fifth grade classes. Shawn Landon, a father of a child in David Parker's son's class, was irate over this news and sent the following e-mails to Superintendent Ash and other school officials.

It is completely and utterly ridiculous that grown men have to threaten bodily harm upon one another over a situation like this. It just goes to show that some people need to participate in violence because they can not articulate their thoughts responsibly enough. This goes for both sides of this deeply emotionally charged issue. Mr. Parker has received threatening and vulgar voicemails at home over his opinions numerous times. Go to threats against Parkers and others under the article about the threats against Mr. Ash and click on threatening phone calls such as this one.

We don't need to resort to physical or verbal threats when it comes to asking for responsible requests from our school officials. We also don't need superintendent of schools blatantly ignoring the law and preventing tax paying citizens from yanking their sons or daughters from a class-room setting that is teaching dangerous behaviors.

Why is it that this case is so one sided? Why can't parents take their children out of a classroom if dangerous behaviors are being discussed? Why do children need to be subjected to homosexuality at such a young age? Who is teaching tolerance, the parents or the special interest organizations that are recommending the curriculum? Where do parental rights begin and where should they end?

Just another day at the government run indoctrination camps.

Here is my response to Mr. Solomon:

In response to Mark Puleo’s March 31, 2008 letter: “MassEquality fights for universal rights” he quotes MassEquality Campaign Director Marc Solomon:
“Unfortunately, their rate (gay and lesbian youth) of suicide attempts is higher than straight youth and the HIV rate…”
This fallacious assertion which is often cited in both gay and mainstream publications is derived from a 1989 report by a special federal task force on youth and suicide which showed that: 1) gay and lesbian youths accounted for one third of all teenage suicides; 2) that suicide was the leading cause of death among gay teenagers; 3) gay teens who commit suicide do so because of “internalized homophobia” and violence directed at them.
Gay activist Paul Gibson wrote the report based on such shoddy research that Dr. Louis Sullivan, the former Secretary of Health and Human Services officially distanced himself and his department from it. Some of the questionable data and figures include the assertion that the author claims that as many as 3000 gay youths kill themselves each year. But that figure exceeds by one thousand the total number of annual teen suicides. His “one-third” figure came from looking at gay surveys taken at drop in centers for troubled teens that revealed that gay teens had two to four times the suicidal tendencies as straight kids. Gibson then multiplied this higher figure by the disputed and debunked “Kinsey 10% homosexual population” figure to produce his “30% of all teen suicides are gay.” (Peter LaBarbera, “The Gay Youth Suicide Myth,” The Journal of Human Sexuality, 65.)
Mr. Puleo’s article goes on to say, “according to Solomon, the recent hearing on the bill (protection for transgendered individuals) was a first for transgendered rights at the statehouse.”
Mr. Solomon needs to do his homework before making such out of date news flashes because as of March 20th, 2008 Bill H1722, the Transgender Rights and Hate Crimes Bill, was stopped in the Judiciary Committee as massive amounts of pressure from Pro-Family organizations took the legs right out from under this piece of legislation.
Also on March 20th, bills H1710, and S918, which would officially legalize same-sex marriage in Massachusetts was also stopped in the Judiciary Committee.

Transgender Rights and Gay "Marriage" Bills Drown Under Pressure

Bill H1722, the Transgender Rights and Hate Crimes Bill, was stopped in the Judiciary Committee today as massive amounts of pressure from Pro-Family organizations took the legs right out from under this sub-human piece of legislation.

Also, Bills: H1710, S918, which would officially legalize same-sex "marriage" in Massachusetts was also stopped in the Judiciary Committee today.

As reported from MassResistance.org:

On Thursday afternoon, March 20th – the deadline for deciding – the Joint Judiciary Committee responded to massive public outcry and dealt a huge blow to the homosexual movement by essentially killing a whole range bills that the gay lobby has been attempting to push into law this year.

Some of these bills (see complete list below) would have severely affected society both in Massachusetts and even around the country. Bill S800 would have allowed out-of-state same-sex couples to get “legally married” in Massachusetts, causing havoc across America. Bill H1722, the Transgender Rights and Hate Crimes Bill, is probably the most radical legislation ever seriously considered by the Legislature, and would have forced legal acceptance “transgenderism” throughout society (including restrooms and schools) and made it a hate crime to criticize the behavior. In all, there were a half-dozen particularly destructive bills that the Committee would likely have passed were it not for your public outcry.

H1722 major project of the homosexual movement

The Transgender Rights and Hate Crimes Bill (H1722) was the major project this year of the homosexual movement in Massachusetts. This was their next step in their march to change our culture. As described in the media back in January, pushing H1722 through the Legislature was a joint effort by the state's major homosexual activist groups and lobbying groups, plus numerous fringe groups such as the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC). This was a serious campaign. They held (at least) two big State House lobbying events and several letter-writing and lobbying efforts. They heavily lobbied key legislators. They dominated the March 4 public hearing with a well-coordinated barrage of 22 “expert” panels and hours of emotional testimony. The bill had the vocal support of dozens of other Massachusetts liberal organizations, and even state agencies. Gov. Deval Patrick, Attorney General Martha Coakley, and Congressman Barney Frank formally endorsed the bill and submitted testimony in favor of it. It had 25 co-sponsors and many other supporters in the Legislature.

So what happened?

We went at them full blast. We published an explosive 125-page report on the bill and exposed exactly what it would do. We went on the media – newspaper, Internet news, and radio – and further exposed the bill and the movement behind it. We made sure that literally thousands of you contacted the Legislature and demanded that this bill not go forward. And we made sure the Judiciary Committee got our explicit testimony at their public hearing (including medical documentation!) even though they clearly didn’t want to hear it.

What does this mean?

THIS is the approach that pro-family groups need to take, not the wishy-washy “moderate” approach we see around the country, with the fear that they might not be “respected”. Yes, if this is important then sometimes you need to be a little confrontational. And we need to continue to put the pressure on, because this year’s fight in the Legislature is only beginning. (Wait till you see our next email!)

Homosexual lobby NOT giving up!

This is unquestionably a major defeat for the homosexual movement in Massachusetts. They had put enormous resources and emotional capital into this and had not anticipated it would get derailed by pro-family pressure.

The homosexual lobby has vowed to try to get H1722 out of study before the July 31 end of the session, and get it passed, although they admit the odds are against it. Bill Conley, head lobbyist for the Mass Gay and Lesbian Political Caucus has announced that they plan to pressure the committee into taking it out of study at some point before July 31, and that they’re organizing to further “explain” their position to committee members. But as the homosexual newspaper Bay Windows reported, “Conley said it will be difficult to get the bill passed before the end of the session.” And don't worry -- we'll be keeping the pressure on, also! We'll keep you posted.

Some good bills also get swept away.

Admittedly, we put most of our energy into making sure that the bad bills didn’t move forward. But there were several good bills, some introduced by MassResistance, that in a perfect world would have moved forward and become law. We weren’t able to make it happen this time, but the Committee did hear our voices and they know we’re not going away on these issues. They know also where the sentiment of the people lies - and it's not with the special interests.

As we said, this fight is not over. There’s still a lot to go. But as we’ve been saying, this battle can – and will – be won.

Kern's Comments Create Controversy

Although I think Rep. Kern's comments suggesting that homosexuality is more dangerous than terrorism is a little bit over the top, the representative is correct in suggesting that homosexuality is a dangerous behavior. The way in which she articulated this thought could be a career ending move.

"According to God's word, that is not the right kind of lifestyle," Rep. Kern said in her speech.
That is a little more like it!!

A male second grader from a Douglas County elementary school in Colorodo has decided to return to his old school as a girl.

"Whei Wong, Douglas County Schools spokesperson, says teachers are planning to address the student by name instead of using he or she. The child will not use the regular boys or girls bathroom. Instead, two unisex bathrooms in the building will be made available. The school is handing out packets to parents who have questions. The packets contain information about people who are transgender."
So, what is with this automatic "conclusion" being made by the Douglas County Schools of this EIGHT year-olds confusing behavior? Why doesn't the school focus on the thought that maybe the child is dealing with some major acceptance problems with his parents and not automatically jump to the conclusion that the child IS really of the opposite sex and then enable the behavior by altering school policy?
The child is being treated by TransYouth Family Advocates which provides "education and tools (that are) need(ed) to provide the optimal learning environment for your gender variant child" of which is stated right on their website. The organization also treats children as young as 3 who are dealing with the problem of gender varience. THREE YEARS OLD????? When was the last time you met a three year-old who is confused about their gender identity??? Wow...there must be some MAJOR problems with mommy and daddy and their passion to not love their children.
"Children are born with a drive to seek love and acceptance by each parent, siblings and peers. If this need is met, children develop an acceptance of their masculinity or femininity. When this developmental task is successfully completed, the child is free to choose gender atypical activities. Boys and girls with gender identity problems are not freely experimenting with gender atypical activities. They are constrained by deep insecurities and fears and are reacting against the reality of their own sexual identity, usually as a result of failing to experience love and acceptance from the parent of the same sex or same sex peers. Therapy is not directed toward forcing a sensitive or artistic boy to become a macho-sports fanatic, but helping a boy to grow in confidence and be happy he is a boy"

The proper upbringing of a child begins at home with a loving mother and father who accept their childs gender as it is, not what the CHILD thinks it is. Instead of providing motherless and fatherless households to children, which is accomplished with same-sex households, why not provide a healthy atmosphere to a child that strengthens the male and female role models and not some tossed saled version of what one thinks a male or female should behave like. We need to have less confusion of sexual identities and more understanding of what Christ expects from us.

Know Thy Neighbor Who???

Here we go again with another FAILED attempt by Know Thy Neighbor (KTN) to botch a signature collection drive to have a citizen initiated petition regarding marriage to be put on the ballot.

As of this past weekend, Floridians got word that their Marriage Protection Amendment will be put on the 2008 ballot to be voted on. KTN Florida has posted the names of those who signed the petition under the intentions to "promote open & meaningful conversations".

What are the benefits of "when the gay hat(s) keep going on and off"? Why is there such a struggle with sexual orientation choices? What fosters them? What types of childhood upbringings result in children being confused about their sexual identities? How can WE ALL help?

I had met Dawn Stefanowicz when she spoke at the initial public hearings on the Marriage Protection Amendment back on April 11, 2006 at the State House in Boston. (Click HERE to read Dawn's testimony at the hearing).

Dawn is a kind hearted and very articulated women who experienced a very tramatic childhood as she grew up in a household led by a homosexual father and a very ill, yet passive mother. Dawn's story is saddening and hard to read at times, but tells the truth about the dangers of homosexual parenting that is becoming ever more present in our society today.

Yes, we must accept our neighbors for who they are, but the children who are living with same-sex parents should not have to be subjected to the confusing lifestyles of homosexuality. The intellectual, physical, and emotional status of these children are at great risk of being shattered and destroyed as a result of their traumatic experiences within the confines of their own home.

I just received Dawn's book in the mail yesterday after ordering it earlier in the week. I could not get past the preface without shedding tears.

Dawn sums up the purpose of writing Out From Under in her preface by saying:

"I have written this book not out of spite, but with a desire to get out from under the wreckage created when sexual boundaries are obscured, to achieve freedom through telling the truth, and to benefit other children who have endured a similar household. A Message From the Coalition for Marriage and Family

Tuesday in municipal elections across the state, pro-family candidates won hotly contested elections with the help of the Coalition for Marriage and Family Action.

Same-sex marriage supporter Mayor Phelan of Quincy was defeated, despite the attacks homosexual newspaper Bay Windows made against his opponent Tom Koch. Koch was supported by the Quincy Marriage and Family chapter, and the Coalition.

Incumbent Mayor Jim Harrington of Brockton, a married grandfather of six, narrowly defeated same-sex marriage activist Jas Stewart, who is "married" to another man, with the help of the Coalition and our Greater Brockton chapter.

Greater Marlborough Marriage and Family Chapter Co-Chair Paul Ferro was re-elected to the Marlborough City Council. Ferro defeated the legislative aide of Representative Steve Leduc, a supporter of abortion and same-sex marriage. All pro-family At-Large councilors were returned, despite a strong challenge by Sean Navin, a staffer of Congressman Jim McGovern who received significant financial backing from liberal groups.

Catholic Citizenship Executive Director Victor Pap was elected to the Weymouth Town Council, and the husband of Catholic Citizenship Fall River Diocese Coordinator Bea Martins, Joe Martins, was elected to the Fall River School Committee. Also in Fall River, pro-marriage and pro-life State Representative Robert Correia won his race for mayor against same-sex marriage supporter and fellow state representative, David Sullivan.

These are just a few examples of the many victorious campaigns across the state that the Coalition for Marriage and Family Action became involved in this summer and fall, and the long months of work have paid off. Through the grassroots activities of our Marriage and Family chapters as well as our financial support for candidates, we are making a difference to elect pro-family candidates at the local level.

We're also building our grassroots network, an effort that is vital to recruiting pro-family legislative candidates in the future to defeat anti-family incumbent legislators.

Wow, the people voted...and they chose morally grounded politicians over those who are not morally grounded...hmmmmmm.

The marriage issue is NOT over yet my friends. We're just seasoning people who will run pro-same-sex "marriage" supporting politicians out of the State House.

GLAD, or Gay and Lesbian Advocates & Defenders, is in the process of expanding the rights of same-sex "married" couples in Massachusetts. The advocacy group is mainly focusing on pushing for "gay" military veterans to be burried in the Arlington National Cemetery and for giving unpaid medical leave benefits to homosexual "married" couples.

Can anyone please explain to me what Carissa Cunningham meant when she said GLAD is taking aim at the federal Defense of Marriage Act that denies federal recognition of "wedded" same-sex couples and in the process is not trying to expand gay "marriage" beyond traditionally liberal New England?

"We are not interested in forcing any other state to do anything on marriage laws," Cunningham said in an interview. "We're looking at where [the Defense of Marriage Act] most affects married couples and where the law may be vulnerable."

Oh, I see Ms. Cunningham. Your going to fight a FEDERAL provision that denies FEDERAL recognition of "wedded" same-sex couples, but only let those FEDERAL provisions be given to those 10,000 "wedded" same-sex couples of Massachusetts? Your not going to try and expand those provisions to others outside of Massachusetts. Why would I think you would do such a silly thing?

Does Ms. Cunningham think we were ALL born yesterday?

Then GLAD runs advertisements in two "gay" newspapers saying:

"It is time to end FEDERAL discrimination against married couples" in which Cunningham said these ads would "resonate with the public".

Boy, GLAD really likes to shove their sexual lifestyles down other peoples throats don't they?

The only thing I do agree with in GLAD's efforts is their willingness to fight for unpaid medical leave benefits for same-sex "married" couples. This provision should be given to anyone in a time of need regardless of their sexual orientation, so I commend GLAD for their stance on this issue.

As for the burrial of "gay" veterans at the Arlington National Cemetery: that is abhorant and disrespectful to all of the men and women who have died for our country. Our country does not look greatly upon homosexual service men and women to be glorifed in this cemetery, it is that plain and simple. Nevermind the fact that the U.S. military does not look greatly upon homosexual service men and women period.

Correction 11/08/2007:

I must appologize for wrongly suggesting that homosexual service men and women are not given the option to be burried at the Arlington National Cemetery (ANC). It was explained to me by an ANC representative that the eligibility requirements offered to heterosexual service men and women for burial at ANC are also offered to homosexual service men and women. The only exception to the eligibility requirements is that the "spouse" of a homosexual service man or woman can not be burried at ANC because ANC does not recognize same-sex "marriages" on a federal level, as these "marriages" are not federally legal. With this, I do appologize for saying that homosexual service men and women should not be given the option to be burried at ANC. These folks have died for our country and therefore their sexual orientation should not matter. I, on the other hand, do agree with ANC's policy of not giving the "spouse" of a homosexual service man or woman the option of being burried with their partner. This is wrong and it indicates an acceptance of a dangerous relationship.

Most people in the United States remain opposed to granting specific legal recognition to homosexual partners, according to a poll by Opinion Research Corporation released by CNN. 56 per cent of respondents think marriages between homosexuals should not be recognized by the law as valid, with the same rights as traditional marriages.

This billboard can be seen off Interstate 91 near the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, which is right near my home. I love driving by it every day because it signifies that the truth is being spread to one motorist at a time. I wish I posted this before, but I could not find a good picture until now.

Researchers Stanton L. Jones and Mark A. Yarhouse released the results Thursday of a three-year study during an address at the American Association of Christian Counselors World Conference.

Their conclusions contradict the claims of the American Psychological Association and the American Psychiatric Association, which contend such change in sexual orientation is impossible and attempting to pursue it likely will cause depression, anxiety or self-destructive behavior.

Acton-Boxborough Regional High School in Massachusetts recently decided that it was O.K. to continue with the production of "The Laramie Project", a supposedly pro-homosexual play that pushes the acceptance of this dangerous sexual orientation.

Regardless of the countless pleas from concerned parents over this R-rated film, the administration at Acton-Boxborough Regional declined to halt the production of the controversial play that is scheduled to start production this upcoming November.

A Brief Background of the play/film:

The 1998 hate-motivated murder of Matthew Shepard gained unusually wide attention for its brutality, along with the dragging death of James Byrd in Jasper, Texas, a few months earlier. The pair of hate crimes triggered the passage of hate-crime laws around the country and inspired playwright Moises Kaufman to take members of his Tectonic Theater Project to Laramie, Wyoming, to interview townspeople who were involved in the aftermath of the event with the intent of creating some sort of dramatic essay. "The Laramie Project" was the outcome.

I have not yet seen either the play or the HBO movie, so I can not comment on the contents of "The Laramie Project". What I can comment on is the horror of the Matthew Shepard case as I remember it vividly when it occurred in 1998. Mr. Shepard was left for dead after his brutal beating. The case made me sick and especially sad to think that there are people on this earth who could do such a horrible thing just because someone has a different sexual preference.
I am not for any sort of violence, either verbally or physically, directed towards those who are taking part in alternative sexual behaviors/lifestyles. We all need to pray for these folks and help them get closer to the true way of life that Christ wants them to lead.
We all sin on a daily basis, including myself. We all need to walk a narrow path if we want to enter the kingdom of heaven. We all need to pray for each other and condemn violence and start walking the walk. The walk in which we all were meant to walk.
Let's all come together and follow the Lord and help those who are leading a sinful lifestyle and have not yet asked for God's forgiveness. For it is God's forgiveness that saves us, but it does not give us a license to continue to live in sin.

Massachusetts collected over 170,000 signatures for its Marriage Protection Amendment regardless of how Know Thy Neighbor intimidated and harassed the voters. 170,000: the largest in MA history for a citizen initiated petition. Keep it up because it means more voters are going to revolt against those who are against democracy. Thanks for the extra stimulus.

Senator Larry Craig can attempt to solicate sex in a public bathroom, so why can't other homosexuals in Florida have the same chances?

This issue is not about Mayor Naugle being a homophobe, it is about keeping Fort Lauderdale safe for everyone, including other homosexuals, heterosexuals, bisexuals, transgenders,ect who would NOT engage in sexual acts in a public place.

Mayor Naugle just wants to simply try and combat illegal and unsafe activity such as sexual activity in a public restroom. Nothing more, nothing less. Where is the homophobia in a mayor who wants to make his streets safe for everyone? I do not get it.

"If it were done by heterosexuals or bisexuals or homosexuals, it really wouldn't make any difference" Mayor Naugle points out.

Just because the mayor wanted to have public bathrooms whose doors automatically unlock after a short time, such that there would be a discouragement of sexual activity, "gay" rights advocates immediately took action against the proposal. Why did the "gay" rights advocates think that Mayor Naugle was targeting the homosexuals by having these doors put in place? What about the heterosexual teenage boy and girl who want to "do it" in the bathrooms? They are being targeted as well. Homosexuals, heterosexuals, bisexuals, ect are ALL being targeted. So, just like how we ALL need to follow the rules for marriage, in which all of the above can do only if it is not with a person of the same gender, ALL of those who wish to engage in sexual activity in a public bathroom in Fort Lauderdale, FL can not under the proposed bathroom door plan. No one is being discriminated here. We ALL have to follow the rules regardless of our sexual orientation.

If I was the mayor of Fort Lauderdale, I would encourage all sexual orientations to visit the area as long as no illegal sexual solicitation was going to be conducted by ANYONE of ANY sexual preferance.

This story would not be a story if Mayor Naugle said he did not want heterosexual prostitution in his town, but since homosexual behaviors were mentioned by the mayor, a huge stink errupted.

Black Robe Ruling

A Polk County, Iowa judge on Thursday struck down Iowa's law banning gay "marriage".

The ruling by Judge Robert Hanson concluded that the state's prohibition on same-sex "marriage" is unconstitutional and he ordered the Polk County recorder to issue marriage licenses to six gay couples.

Here we go again, judicial fiat at its best!!

When are people going to wake up and realize that the judicial system does NOT make law, but applies it. The people spoke at the ballot box in Iowa to ban same-sex "marriages", so what is the problem?

Don't give me this highly refutable "civil-rights" jargon, because there is no weight to that argument as I have stated time and time again.

House Minority Leader Christopher Rants, R-Sioux City, said the judge's ruling only illustrates the need for a state constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.

Plain and simple.

Des Moines lawyer Dennis Johnson said the Defense of Marriage Act, which the Legislature passed in 1998, contradicts previous court rulings regarding civil rights and should be struck down.

What are these other civil rights court rulings and do they relate to racism or to sexual orientation? They probably relate to another failed juxtaposition of racism and sexual orientation that so many try to justify. And where were these contradictive court rulings when the Legislature passed the Defense of Marriage Act in 1998???????

The Oppressed Become Oppressors

Melissa Walker of DES MOINES REGISTER.COM reports that an agreement that was supposed to end a five-year fight between the Des Moines YMCA and a lesbian couple who wanted a family membership only intensified the debate on Monday, August 6, 2007.

Greater Des Moines YMCA officials had agreed to settle a human rights complaint and expand their definition of "family" to include M and Sandra Patton-Imani, a Des Moines lesbian couple joined in a civil union in Vermont in 2000. But the couple refused to sign the document when they found out it contained a confidentiality clause.

I looked at the website for the YMCA of Greater Des Moines, Iowa and read their mission statement which is stated as follows:

"The YMCA mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all."

Now, with a non-profit organization having a mission statement such as this really indicates that this whole case is about demonizing the Christian faith. This case would fall under the "Portray Gays as Victims, Not Aggressive Challengers" of the homosexual agenda. This homosexual agenda, as I have indicated in many posts in the past, was devised by homosexual activists Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen. This agenda was published in 1987 in an article titled "The Overhauling of Straight America" and in the book "After the Ball" in 1989.

As explained in "The Homosexual Agenda" by Alan Sears and Craig Osten:

This agenda point is a direct play to most Americans' basic sense of fairness and liberal guilt about anyone who claims to have been oppressed. Therefore, despite demographic statistics to the contrary, homosexual activists have skillfully played the media like a drum to portray themselves as a victimized class in need of special protections.

In a November 26th, 2002 article in the Washington Times, Ellen Sorokin reports of a homosexual teenager who killed a Catholic women who was trying to persuade him to change his sexual orientation. The woman, Mary Stachowicz, was found strangled and then was placed in a crawl space under a floor. Yet there was no "hue and cry" over this "hate crime" and it was barely reported in the national press.

Peter LaBarbera, who was interviewed in the article, had this to say about the case:

"If a gay man had been murdered for trying to convince someone to be gay, it would be a national news story and be deemed a hate crime. But when a gay man murders a woman who tried to convince him to change, the media spike(s) the story."

It's an amazing thing to watch a group that said they were oppressed become oppressors.

It seems that the Knights of Columbus (K of C) are under fire for having 16 pro-homosexual "marriage" politicians in their organization with no plans on the horizon to expel any of them.

This pro-gay "marriage" stance by the 16 Bay State lawmakers has been an issue since they all voted to defeat the Marriage Protection Amendment back on June 14th during the Constitutional Convention at the State House. Read story HERE regarding past concerns of the 16 lawmakers breaking their Knights of Columbus Catholic vows.

The issue of these 16 K of C members disenvowing their Catholic faiths in order to cave into special interest groups has also been an issue in other parts of the state. My friend Jake has had the following e-mail exchange with Tim S., who is the head of the 4th Degree K of C, and Tom, who is the District Deputy of the K of C in the North Shore region:

While I here you, and think none too kind of this mission statement stuff, I do think it is would be nice for members to discuss WHY we, as an organization are different from the Kiwanis, Masons, Jaycees, Women of Today, the John Birch Society, Africans for Peace, Democratic Party, Republican Assembly, etc. It does hit me as rather strange why anyone would join a Catholic organization, (such as the K of C) and then take actions that put political party above Christianity. Think Reg Tardiff supporting Barbara 'kill-them-in-the-womb' at Catholic hospitals L'Itallien for instance (vote a couple of years back to force Catholic hospitals to peform abortions).

Until the bishops do something, don't expect the KofC to do anything. They will not expel someone who goes against the Church's teachings if the bishops won't. We will not stand in defiance of our priests and bishops. To boot these guys out, would be to say that we know better than the hierarchy, and as a Catholic Men's organization, we will never do that. If you have a problem, take it up with Sean Cardinal O'Malley.

Ending the e-mail dialog with a comment from a Christopher C. R. concerning the mission statement of the KofC:

"I'm confused....By definition of the Knights of Columbus...Is that not our "MISSION STATEMENT"... Why would we want to attempt to change that? Is there something wrong with what we are supposed to stand for that needs further definition?"

I guess this issue is "one-up" for the "tossed salad version" of scripture in the world of the K of C.

My question: When are we going to have real MEN stand up for God and his true way of life?

Bishop Discriminated Against "Gay" Youth Worker

A gay man won a landmark case of unlawful discrimination against the Church of England yesterday after a bishop refused him a job because of his sexuality.

An employment tribunal ruled that John Reaney, 42, had been discriminated against "on grounds of sexual orientation" when he was turned down for the post of youth worker in the diocese of Hereford.

Mr Reaney, from Colwyn Bay, north Wales, said he was "delighted" by the decision, which could have implications for employment policies in the Church.

But the Bishop of Hereford, the Rt Rev Anthony Priddis, said he was "naturally disappointed" and was considering whether to appeal. The Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement said the bishop should resign.

During the tribunal hearing in Cardiff in April, Mr Reaney said that he had been asked intrusive questions by Bishop Priddis about his previous gay relationship during a two-hour meeting in July 2006.

Mr Reaney, who had been told that he was the outstanding candidate for the job, said that the meeting had left him feeling embarrassed, upset and "a total waste of space".

Three days after the meeting, the bishop telephoned Mr Reaney to say his application had not been successful.

During his evidence, Bishop Priddis said he had made it clear to Mr Reaney that a person in a sexual relationship outside marriage, whether they were heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual or transgender, would be turned down for the post. The Bishop said that Mr Reaney's behavior was contrary to official Church teaching and had "the potential to impact on the spiritual, moral and ethical leadership within the diocese".

The tribunal found that Bishop Priddis should have considered only the present lifestyle of Mr Reaney, who is single, and he should not have speculated about potential future relationships.

Delivering the judgment, the tribunal said the case would be listed for a remedy hearing and Mr Reaney is expected to be awarded substantial damages.

Mr Reaney, who had already worked in two Church of England dioceses where he had been praised for his achievements, was delighted at the outcome. He said the case "demonstrated to many lesbian and gay Christians working for God within the Church of England that they are entitled to fair and respectful treatment".

Ben Summerskill, the chief executive of Stonewall, which funded Mr Reaney's legal action, said the verdict was "a triumph for 21st century decency over 19th century prejudice".

The Rev Richard Kirker, the chief executive of the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement, whose sympathisers include a number of Church of England bishops, said the bishop should resign.

This is a just outcome," he said. "The Church has brought this humiliation on itself.

"The case need never have been brought if the Church was not institutionally homo-phobic."

But Bishop Priddis said:

"I still think the decision I made was the right one. I regret the polarisation of view that tends to take place when these things happen," he said. "I took the decision after a great deal of thought and prayer and anguish. If there had been a stability of life then I would have taken a different view, but there wasn't. I don't normally ask anybody about their sex lives. Mr Reaney raised the issue, not me."

Under the Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2003, it is illegal to discriminate against people as a result of their sexual orientation, but the law does contain an exemption for organised religion.

The bishop said the tribunal had recognised the exemption, but the post of youth worker was among a handful of lay jobs that fell within it.

He said: "It is the duty of every bishop to uphold spiritual, moral and ethical standards and the tribunal agreed.

"However, in the light of the tribunal decision the Hereford Diocesan Board of Finance will again look at its recruitment literature to make clear the teaching and requirements of the Church in respect of the lifestyle of those in leadership roles."

If I go into an organized Gay and Lesbian club and become a member and then decide to apply for a chairmen position, but then get turned down because of my heterosexual lifestyle, does that mean I can therefore sue because of discrimination?

This whole England case makes ZERO sense in terms of its application to U.S. law. In the words of Pope Leo:

"In a Christian country, therefore, the Church has a divine right to speak out against any encroachments by a secular state".

Look, the church, in the U.S. at least, is protected under the first amendment to teach Christianity is its purest form. For example, let's take 1 Corinthians 6:9 -

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be DECEIVED: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

As Michael Glatze, a former homosexual activist, said in my previous post:

I found this story, and there are many more like it, very down-to-earth and real. Mr. Glatze's troubling past is something that many young men and women deal with today. Although society turns the other cheek or glorifies a person, for the most part, when a relative or close friend "comes out", there are many resources to help those who are taking part in the homosexual lifestyle to "come out" of such a lustful, dangerous way of life. Many of these resources, with testimonies from those who have left the homosexual lifestyle are linked on my blog such as "Love Won Out".

I do not make fun of or laugh at the homosexual community because I do not want to desensitize a dangerous behavior with humor. This is often done in Hollywood with movies such as Adam Sandler and Kevin James' new release "Chuck and Larry". In this movie, Sandler and James (“King of Queens”) play heterosexual New York City firefighters who pose as a gay couple so they can marry and help James’ character, a widower, provide for his children.

“Through this disarming type of comedy, there is this use of stereotypes and slurs, and it holds the mirror up for people to ask, ‘Where does this come from?” said Damon Romine, entertainment media director for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.

"Disarming" a dangerous behavior, as homosexuality is, with comedy. This is part of the many tiered homosexual agenda that was devised in part by homosexual activists Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen and publicized in two publications: A 1987 article titled "The Overhauling of Straight America" and a 1989 book titled "After the Ball".

What "Chuck and Larry" also does is disenvow the valuble institution of marriage by advocating for a "tossed saled" version of what a marriage can be. If people who are NOT homosexual wish to get "married" just for the sake of helping out a family member, then by all means people should do so. But let's hide this agenda with comedy and then those who disagree with the theme are then asked to "lighten up" or are given the old adage "calm down, it is only a movie".

Whose to say that this will never happen with college graduates who want to get the cheap "family" health insurance plan in a jiffy because health insurance is now a requirement in Massachusetts? Whose to say two male or female best friends at work who have no benefits provided to them from their place of employment get "married" because they need the "bennies" in order to survive?

We as a society can not turn the other cheek and not see what is really happening with marriage. We as a society must embrace our homosexual friends and relatives and help them "come out" of their dangerous lifestyles with open arms. Lets help each other out, not enable each other's dangerous ways of living.

Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence?

Five were captured by the British as traitors and tortured before they died.

I received this e-mail dialog from a friend who had produced the following e-mail to State Representative Angelo J. Puppolo, Jr:

My friend wrote:

"Dear Representative Puppolo:
Unfortunately, it is more important to support one's self-interest, instead of the common good of society at large! Your decision to abandon your support of the marriage amendment was disingenuous and deeply disappointing. Especially since public office is a privilege for those who are put in power through the trust and will of the people.
Your decision is tantamount to turning your backs on the 123,000 citizens who signed the ballot initiative - the highest number of signatures supporting any citizens petition initiative in Massachusetts history.Everyone who counted on your support will not forget your abandonment and denial of the democratic process."

Representative Puppolo then responded with:

"Thank-you for taking the time to contact me relative to your sentiments to continue the process to amend the Massachusetts Constitution to ban gay marriage.

I want you to know that I respect and value your opinion. As a participant and office holder in the democratic process, it is very difficult for me to argue against the fundamental right of citizens to vote and make choices in our system of government. On the other hand, I am required to observe and respect the protections that are established by a constitutional democracy. I can only ask that you appreciate that this question ultimately brought both of these very fundamental rights into conflict as I contemplated my decision. I did not arrive at my decision easily, as it required my absolute attention and devotion to both sides and their respective concerns. In the final analysis, my conscience could not reconcile a vote to continue a process which would have deprived people of rights and which would potentially also strip away any protection of existing benefits or liberties.

Finally, there will be many other matters, I am sure, that receive your concern and attention during the next several years. I don't know about you, but Rep. Puppolo's response is NOT filled with facts other than his opinions passed off as such.

What??? Where is it said ANYWHERE that taking part in the institution of marriage is a "right"? I have asked this question time and time again with NO response. ANYONE????

"... and which would potentially also strip away any protection of existing benefits or liberties."

O.K., look!! What protections, benefits or liberties do homosexuals not have that heterosexuals do have? We are all on the same page when it comes to both sexual orientations following the same law: You can marry ANYONE as long as it does not involve a partner of the same-sex (or so the law read BEFORE the courts decided to MAKE law regarding marriage three-years ago).

"Finally, there will be many other matters, I am sure, that receive your concern and attention during the next several years."

Translation:

"I am in charge here!!

If you do not like the way I agreed to represent/support your views we can have another e-mail exchange on issues that I will continue to disagree with eventhough I said I would not".

It is basically that simple...no??

Don't worry Rep. Puppolo, I am sure my friend will have many concerns. The only difference is that you are not going to be taking care of these matters for him because you are going to be voted out by a landslide in 2008.

Flag Day 2007:John Adams RIP

This article by Ray Neary, a respected Catholic pro-life activist , gives us some food for thought.

Bennington flag unfurling beside my front doorway, I drove away destined for Beacon Hill this 14th of June 2007, fully aware that the members of our Great and General Court would do all they could this day to violate the democratic processes on an issue with vast implications for families, this state and the entire nation. They do have a history of doing this.

This Flag Day in 2007 will have special significance in history, as it marked the date on which the elected Legislature of this Commonwealth, in effect, replaced the displaying of the stars and stripes with a banner made up of the colors of the rainbow.

Arm-twisting, lucrative job offers, and influence peddling from Governor Deval Patrick's office to Senator Ted Kennedy's and the Democrat leadership in Washington, D.C. had been amply reported in the media, so no one should have been surprised that these solons thumbed their noses at 170,000 signatories on a petition to bring the status of marriage to the ballot on Nov. 4, 2008. Only 45 legislators of the 50 necessary voted to continue moving the issue to this vote. The process died in its tracks! In the wake, however, I wonder how many interpret the Constitutional Convention's brazen action as one of Divine Providence. I do.

The amendment's wording would allow 99 per cent of the camel into the tent by permitting what would be a "marriage" arrangement under a different label. Then, in only a short period of time, it would morph legally into the same relationship that has been preserved for millennia, one involving only one man and one woman. But above and beyond this gaping flaw, worse still was a grandfather clause which would allow and affirm 10,000-plus "marriages" which would have been performed up to Nov. 4, 2008 and then deny any after that date. A prompt challenge would have ipso facto relegated the dual status to the legal trash bin. And then folks: Go back to Square One!

What also has been sadly overlooked in the surreal political world in which we have been living is that Same Sex "Marriage" (SS"M") still does not exist in this once-proud Commonwealth. And yes, we do owe a monumental apology to John Adams for these last few years. In the Goodridge decision on Nov. 18, 2003 the Supreme Judicial Court never established SS"M"; they ruled that the Legislature had the right to do so, but that was never done. The Legislature knew that it did not have the votes to pass SSM into law in 2003-04, so the 180 days the SJC gave to them came and went on May 17, 2004. Herein started the legal tailspin that gave us the pseudo-marriage situation which exists today.

Governor Mitt Romney, a Harvard Law School graduate, tacked 180 degrees off course as he instructed Town Clerks and Justices of the Peace to start issuing "marriage" licenses to applicants of the same gender. What he clearly should have done at this point was exercise bold leadership by issuing an Executive Order prohibiting any such action until the Legislature took appropriate constitutional steps. Herein lies the genesis of this unconstitutional tailspin, one which has started rapidly to re-design the social, political and religious underpinnings of our society from early education throughout our entire social framework.

Surely, the SJC in Massachusetts in their long-delayed Goodridge decision turned the Massachusetts Declaration of Rights, the nation's oldest written constitution, inside out. They were fully aware of their inability to enact law and impose such a radical change to statutory law in this state. The Separation of Powers principle precluded them from invading the legislative domain.

What Chief Justice Margaret Marshall and her narrow phalanx wanted to happen was to create an environment where the public, mainly that enormous number in the soft, tractable middle ground of the political landscape, would be eased over so they would adhere to the postmodern political view of her elitists. After establishing SSM in this state, the U.S. Constitution's Article IV "full faith and credit" provision allows an open window to gain entrance to all the remaining states. Then barriers of consanguinity and duality would soon fall. Interspecies "marriage" might take a little longer.

In the recent Doyle vs. Galvin decision upholding the plaintiffs' call for a vote on this proposed constitutional amendment, the SJC's language can be interpreted to affirm that Goodridge did not have the authority to establish "marriages" between two people of the same sex. In reality, these two decisions affirm that all these "marriages", which have taken place in this state, are not marriages at all.

I have never accepted that any two people of the same gender can have a marriage, notwithstanding many other relationships which exist in our society. The millennia-old institution of marriage involves complementarity, not only on a physical plane but also in the vast psychological, social and spiritual realms. This relationship is unique, joining two diverse human natures into what can be life's most productive, rewarding and enjoyable existence. Diversity not only exists in this complementary relationship; it is the essential ingredient in it. Of course, we are for diversity right at the core of the marriage union!

History will unravel this social, political mess and expose it in the full sunlight down the road somewhere. And it will reveal that SSM never existed in this state - constitutionally or legally. Future courts will rule that to have been the case.

Take heed, traditionalists. Flag Day 2007 may have seen the Democrat leadership show how they really abhor the democratic processes, and how the Republicans' cowardice and turncoat behavior once again demonstrated why they continue to be a shrinking minority. As they receive the blessing of a lesbian minister draped with a rainbow stole on the State House steps and wallow in the syrupy adulation of those to whom they have sold their souls, 151 legislators and the Governor deserved pity.

I still prefer the stars and stripes, which I will continue to display with pride. A Massachusetts Constitutional Convention, which thumbs its nose at 170,000 petitioners and millions of voting citizens in order to continue the imposition of a perverse arrangement, will be viewed some future day in its proper way: an "evolutionary paradigm" of social, political decadence in this once-proud Bay State . Let's assure that its national implications are seen, and that it hastens the day when an amendment to the U.S. Constitution passes and saves our fellow citizens across this nation from the malignancy which has started here.

Secular Progressive Theology

Blah, blah, blah...I could go on and on and bore you to death with what I think about the events of June 14, 2007. The events in which I am referring to are those that led up to the complete usurpation of democracy by 11 "Benedict Arnolds" at the State House during the constitutional convention where the Marriage Protection Amendment was "voted" upon.

I have not written a piece about the convention, better know as the Con Con, because of my complete disgust of what occurred in the 15 minutes on the House floor of June 14th. I sat in the House Gallery waiting to see what the outcome of marriage itself would be for the rest of the world...yes, for the rest of the world. I say this because Massachusetts is the only plot of land on the PLANET that is trying to reverse same-sex "marriages". Everyone and their dog was watching to see how democracy could involve the people. But wait, why would anyone depend on Beacon Hill to represent the "in's and out's" of democracy? Sorry for the letdown!!

None-the-less, as I have been taking part in an active recovery phase in the campaign to protect traditional marriage, I have been reading some interesting news articles about the marriage amendment. I came across one today, June 22, 2007, in the Boston Herald titled "Backwash of hate proves rep was right". Click HERE to read full article before reading anymore of this post. Now, Rep. Brian Wallace, as pictured above, has been behind Vote On Marriage regarding his support of the marriage amendment. His support was so concrete and trustworthy that you could sell your first born on it. I mean this guy was not going to flip!! So much for trusting someone's word or the other 10 traitors.

O.K., so Rep. Wallace received an e-mail from a stout supporter of same-sex marriage who expressed her thanks for the representatives support in "sticking up for her 'rights'. I never knew marriage was a right. Can anyone show me a timeline of when this campaign started and ended with marriage being labeled as a right?

This statement really threw me for a loop:

"...It would have been the ugliest, most divisive election this state has ever seen" (if the marriage amendment had been involved in the 2008 elections).

What Nancy Pelosi bandwagon did you get a ride on Rep. Wallace? This election process would of divided the men from the boys and the girls from the women regarding morality and faith. Imagine, an election that was centered on faith and morals like our U.S. Constitution is centered on. Maybe, just maybe the good Word, the Bible that is, would actually be voted back into schools as a piece of important literature if morals were a part of the upcoming elections. I know, most of you are saying "separation of church and state." Let me just say this - the legal ramifications or the words 'separation of church and state' do NOT exist in our government....anywhere!!!! I will touch base on this during another post or in my comments to anyone who wishes to comment on said matter.

And by the way Rep. Wallace, I would like to see those "hate" e-mails and phone calls. Were they "hate" centered or did they just express a different opinion that you SPIN off as "hate"?

Then the South Boston e-mailer to Rep. Wallace goes on to say:

"...that their marriages (same-sex marriages) are a lie?"

No, you are to say that same-sex marriages are not legal in Massachusetts, because 4 un-elected officials MADE law without legislative approval.

And this comment just makes me role with laughter:

"Both Brian and I (Sen. Jack Hart) are married fathers and church-going Catholics."

That's right Sen. Hart, you and Rep. Wallace are just "45 minute" church-going Catholics. You two are good little Catholics for the amount of time it takes for the pastor to finish his sermon and then once you walk out of the church doors it's back to your tossed-salad version of what is righteous.

The last paragraph in this article inspired me to write this post:

"In time, I think the vitriol will fade. When people want to challenge me over this issue," Hart said, "I ask them what they think Jesus would do? Would Jesus shower the same kind of hate upon these people? Or would He love them anyway and treat them with compassion"?

Yes, Sen. Hart, Jesus would treat these people with compassion but you are missing the point of scripture and the Lord's word if you stop there. Jesus would show compassion like he did to the prostitute woman at the water well. Jesus THEN went on to say to the woman, do not sin no more and you will enter my kingdom. Show compassion but then teach repentance. Right Rep. Wallace and Sen. Hart? You do remember this during your 45-minute lessons don't you?

Dating vs. Desires

I guess all Christians, Jews, ect can only express their religious beliefs behind closed doors of their place of worship because less than 3% of the population, homosexuals, feel uncomfortable in a predominately heterosexual society. I guess some day I will be "coming out of the closet" into a homosexual ensued world.

As far as I am concerned every lifestyle, either heterosexual, homosexual, transgender, ect is to follow the same standards when it comes to the dating rules of eHarmony. I, as a heterosexual, can not date a potential partner of the same-sex, why should eHarmony therfore give special privlages to the homosexual community to do such a thing? The sexual desires of the homosexual community is not in the better interest of eHarmony and neither should it be as it is a dating service not a call service. Being a portal for healthy relationships is in the better interest of eHarmony and nothing more.

Suing online dating services that strictly serve the heterosexual community is the wave of the future for radical homosexuals. Sooner or later the state will have to punish anyone who "interferes" with the so-called "civil right" of same-sex marriages.

The punishment will be severe. Laws banning interference with "civil rights" will impose stiff fines and, after Goodridge, will authorize serious damage awards against anyone who on moral grounds refuses to recognize or honor the so-called "civil right" of same-sex marriages. If the people are denied a vote on marriage, then the persecution will begin in earnest.

Don't be fooled by the homosexual slogan: "We are the victims" because someday all of us are going to be victims to a lack of democracy at the State House.

Let the people, heterosexual or homosexual, decide the fate of marriage, not the black robes whose sole purpose is to apply democracy, not deny democracy.

Wow, what a busy couple of months!! I do wish I could blog for a living!! I have missed out on all of the fun of posting stories of the marriage issue here in Massachusetts. I have been very busy at my job with a new boss and studying for re-newels of certifications that I need for my line of work.

Well, I am back! I now have some room to stretch my legs and breath a little easier. I have many comments to respond to and stories to post. I will be having a newly posted story for you on a daily basis from here on out!!

Thanks to all of you who have been patient with my lack of posting anything on my blog. I look forward to your comments and to a good long civilized discourse on just about any topic regarding marriage, family and the grace of God.

The Hidden Pain

I came across a very interesting, touching, and emotionally driven video regarding testimonials from former homosexuals on the American Family Association website.

The stories are real and very graphic, but sad and pinch your "reality" nerve when you see the pain the homosexual lifestyle can bring upon someone.

As many of my readers know, I have no intentions of making fun of the homosexual lifestyle by showing this video. I intend to show you all the hidden pain and emotional suffering that some homosexuals deal with on a daily basis by taking part in the dangerous lifestyle of homosexuality. We as a society must pray for our lost brothers and sisters who partake in homosexuality and ask God to grant them mercy and help them get closer to the way Christ wants us to live.

I hope this video, which is 25 minutes long, will open your eyes to the dangers of the homosexual lifestyle and force you to help those who are in need.

"Together We Can"...Ignore The Law

An interesting editorial appeared in the Newburyport News this past Wednesday discussing Governor Patrick's unwillingness to uphold a 1913 law that bans out of state couples from marrying in Massachusetts if that marriage was illegal in the couple's home state.

This law was originally passed because a few states allow marriages between first cousins or young teenage lovers and other states do not. These types of circumstances make this law justified for obvious reasons. Now that the homosexual community has spoken up against former Governor Mitt Romney's decision to null and void 26 homosexual "marriages" from becoming legal is MA because of this law, there has been many "historical" reasons to pull it from the books. These made up "historical" reasons suggest that the 1913 law was actually passed to keep some states' laws against interracial couples intact, and it should therefore be immediately repealed. There is no evidence of that, and Massachusetts at the time allowed inter-racial marriages.

Just because Deval Patrick does not "like" the law because he basis his decision on hearsay and falacious, made up reasons does not mean he can do away with the law. It is that simple.

There is no comparison between inter-racial marriages and homosexual "marriages". Period. Mr. Patrick should keep his racial motivations to himself and not impose them on the laws of the Commonwealth.

This is not about why the executive branch of the State House likes or dislikes a law, this is about spoon feeding special interest groups that pay lots of money to get their way.

Where is the democracy on Beacon Hill? What happened to upholding the oath of office? I know... Money talks and the people of the Commonwealth can walk...right Deval?

Indoctrinating our Youths

Suppose your son came home from school one day with a pamphlet — given to him by the school. Suppose it told your son:

Men who call themselves gay are sexually attracted to and fall in love with other men. Their sexual feelings toward men are normal and natural for them. These feelings emerge when they are boys and the feelings continue into adulthood. . . “I don’t remember exactly when I first knew I was gay, but I do remember that the thought of sex with men always excited me.”

“I had to reject a lot of negative heterosexual and religious programming that made me feel lousy about myself as a gay person. I began to like myself by meeting other gay people and going to a gay support group.”

“But it is crucial to be honest with yourself. Just as self-denial costs you, coming out pays off. Most kids who accept their sexuality say they feel calmer, happier and more confident.”

This was given out to students at Newton North High School in December, during an all-day “Transgender Bisexual Gay Lesbian Awareness Day” event (which the school called “ToBeGLAD Day”). By order of the principal, parents were not allowed to attend. The pamphlet also lists places kids can go to meet homosexuals.

And here’s another one that was given out that day. This slick booklet, "Youth Connections" is from [National Youth Advocacy Coalition, NYAC,] a national homosexual group targeting kids.

The District "Made a Mistake"

Concerned Women for America is blasting an Illinois high school for urging students not to tell their parents about its mandatory homosexual indoctrination program. Deerfield High School in Chicago has a class called "Freshman Advisory," in which ninth-graders are required to attend a panel discussion led by the Gay-Straight Alliance Network. The panel features homosexual upperclassmen telling students about their sexual experiences.

I am a little torn on what is fact here. First the school district has the students sign a confidentiality agreement saying they would not tell anyone about the discussions the upperclassmen are having with the freshman, but parents have the right to pull their children out of the classroom if homosexuality is being discussed.

I have included Deerfield High Schools Process for Excusing Students from Instructional Activities.

My question is why would a school district have students sign a confidentiality form but yet they can be pulled out of class if parents disagree with the discussions on sexual orientation? Something is not balancing out here.

It sounds like another David Parker story to me. I will keep you updated.

Indiana to Protect Traditional Marriage

More than 4,200 petition signatures have been delivered to the office of Indiana House Speaker Patrick Bauer.

'Hate Crime' Bill HR 254 Expected to Pass

I only have one question concerning this issue: Why do we need to have special protections for a sub-group of people, such as homosexuals? Why can't we provide special protections via legislation for overweight people or for black people or for kids in school or people at a place of employment who get picked on because they are considered "nerds"?

Like I asked in my earlier post regarding HR 254, why can't the tolerance/diversity training/special protections agenda be under an umbrella involving a plethora of 'different' people such as mentioned above? This would be fair and balanced and would not result in trying to accomplish an agenda, such as the homosexual community is trying to do with their attempts to eviscerate marriage and family.

House of Representatives Set to Vote on “Hate Crimes” Giving Homosexuals Special Rights

The U.S. House of Representatives will soon vote on HR 254, which establishes “hate crime” legislation. HR 254 will create new special rights for homosexuals under the guise of enhancing law enforcement. It would make “sexual orientation” a protected class alongside race, religion and gender.

The only way this bill can be defeated is with a real grassroots uprising by those who care about the future of their children, families and marriages!

The intent of this law is to force the acceptance and approval of homosexuality on every American, regardless of their religious views. Here is a short summary of HR 254.

Here is a partial list of what homosexual activists are trying to force on every American. While HR 254 will not, in and of itself, accomplish these goals, it will open the door to such regulations.

Preaching that homosexuality is a sin from the pulpit will result in the preacher being charged with “hate speech.”

Churches will have their tax-exempt status revoked if they oppose homosexuality.

Homosexual marriage will be legalized and recognized in all states.

Polygamy will be legalized.

Scouts, and all non-profit organizations, will be required to hire homosexuals as leaders.

Biblical language used to define homosexuality will be considered “hate speech.” City officials have already had a billboard removed in Long Island, NY, because it was classified as “hate speech.” The billboard read: “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination.” (Leviticus 20:13)

Employees will not be allowed to say anything negative about homosexuality in their workplaces.

Classes promoting the homosexual lifestyle will be included in school curricula beginning with the lower grades.

Adoption by homosexuals will be legalized in every state.

Same-Sex Family IKEA Commercial Shown

I have not seen the commercial personally on T.V., but my friend John who lives up in New Hampshire said he saw it twice in one day on channel 9, WMUR, around the time of a weekend evening news report.

I have stated the dangerous facts about same-sex "families" time and time again here on my blog, with a post titled "Question: How does same-sex marriage harm our understanding of humanity?" being the most informative on this issue.

Let's stop the propagation of the homosexual agenda and teach our children not only which lifestyles they should not make fun of or negatively scrutinize, such as homosexuality, but which lifestyles are dangerous and incriminating to others well being, such as homosexuality.

Same-sex Couple and Child Promoted as a "Family"

A U.S. pro-family group says a TV ad from overseas furniture manufacturer IKEA, which touts a same-sex couple and a child as a contemporary "family," is that company's latest attempt to force its liberal, pro-homosexual worldview on Americans.

In a day and age when radical homosexuals are fighting for equal status as heterosexuals in regards to marriage "rights", the idea of forcing this agenda on Americans in the form of commercials is a step in the wrong direction. Why would a company such as IKEA want to potentially subject Americans to this type of agenda based advertising when 54% of the country objects to same-sex "marriages"?

As I have stated in previous comment threads, why would a company that promotes homosexuality advertise to a predominately pro-family country? IKEA is going to potentially target the wrong audience. If IKEA ever agreed to show their commercials in the U.S. then obviously they are going to be supported by the homosexual lobbyists and therefore will go ahead with pushing the homosexual agenda.

I wonder if it would be O.K. if we have heterosexual drug addicts, prostitutes, and those who engage in sadomasochism on the IKEA commercials promote their behavior by saying:

"Why shouldn't sofas come in behaviors, like drug addiction, prostitution, and sadomasochism?"

How is this any different than:

"Why shouldn't sofas come in flavors, like families?"

The promotion of dangerous behaviors such as drug addiction, prostitution and sadomasochism juxtaposes that of the homosexual lifestyle. Homosexuals die mush earlier than heterosexuals and have significantly higher rates of suicide, rectal cancer, liver cancer, HIV, and other infectious diseases than heterosexuals.

Family structure is the single most important factor in a child’s development. Of all the essential elements which lead to a child’s proper development (access to health care, nutrition, good schools, safe neighborhoods, and love) the most important factor is the marital status of the parents. According to Dr. Pitirim Sorokin, founder and first chair of the Sociology Department at Harvard, proclaimed the importance of married parents half a decade ago:

“The most essential socio-cultural patterning of a newborn human organism is achieved by the family. It is the first and most efficient sculptor of human material, shaping the physical, behavioral, mental, moral and socio-cultural characteristics of practically every individual. …From remotest past, married parents have been the most effective teachers of their children.” (Glenn T. Ford Helps Sponsor Explicit, Sickening Homosexual Scene

On the January 16 episode of "Dirt," which airs on the FOX channel, Ford helped sponsor one of the most explicit, sickening homosexual scenes ever shown on television. Be forewarned, it is extremely graphic. Ford has made it extremely clear that they have no intentions of ending their support of homosexuality. Among other things, the company reneged on their agreement to remain neutral in the culture wars, increased their support of homosexual publications, sponsored TV programs pushing homosexuality and required employees to attend "diversity" training promoting homosexuality. Do All Homosexuals Want to Get Married?

There are three groups of homosexuals who have three very different views on the issue of same-sex marriages. The first group includes those who want to redefine the institution of marriage to include gay and lesbian couples. They argue that this will be good for society and cause gay men to "settle down". The second group of homosexuals want nothing to do with marriage, viewing it as incompatible with the so-called sexual freedom of the gay culture. The third group advocate for the deconstructing of marriage altogether. They argue that the government should sanction all relationships of any conceivable make up and size, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, number of partners or age.

The first groups position is at odds with the other two. Let's take the second groups view of marriage. For these gays and lesbians the thought of participating in a traditional marriage ceremony doesn't bring joy to their hearts. Instead, it provokes anxiety and even revulsion. These individuals view marriage as conformist, confining and diametrically opposed to everything that "gay liberation" represents. They are all for equal rights and benefits, but they believe that affirming marriage - gay or straight -works against this.

Jim Rinnert, of In These Times magazine, shares this same view in an editorial titled "The Trouble with Gay Marriage":

"Gay marriage strikes me as, first and foremost, just another way to show the straights we're the same as them, that we're as "normal" as the heterosexuals with whom we share the planet and thereby are worthy of acceptance into their club....{G}uess what - we're not the same. We're different. Rather than try to paint heterosexual strips on our pelts, let's examine, explore, and celebrate our different coloration."

"Let them have it - the term and the institution. To engage in that argument is to be sidetracked by semantics...If you want to register at Target and get lots of stuff when you "wed," do it. Let heterosexual men and women have their institution and their names for it; we need to find the imagination and the guts to visualize and build our own." Disagreeing with the idea of same-sex marriage may suggest that some homosexuals, particularly gay men, are simply not "the marrying kind." Social science research would seem to support that view. A 2004 report from the University of Chicago indicated that 61 percent of the men in Chicago's gay community had more than thirty sexual partners, with 43 percent of that group reporting more than sixty partners. (Adrian Brune, "City Gays Skip Long-term Relationships: Study Say, " Washington Blade, February 27, 2004, p. 12).

As for the group that wishes to deconstruct the institution of marriage, Paula Ettelbrick has spoken for this group many times. Ms. Ettelbrick, who teaches law at New York University and Columbia University, cautions gays and lesbians about pursuing same-sex marriage in order to "make us feel good about ourselves". In her essay "Since When Is Marriage a Path to Liberation?" she makes this point:

"Marriage will not liberate us as lesbians and gay men. In fact, it will constrain us, make us more invisible, force our assimilation into the mainstream, and undermine the goals of gay liberation...Marriage runs contrary to two of the primary goals of the lesbian and gay movement: the affirmation of gay identity and culture and the validation of many forms of relationships."
Nancy Polikoff, a law professor at American University juxtaposed Ettelbrick's thoughts in an opinion piece in the Washington Blade:

"...Gay marriage will move us in the wrong direction if it limits legal recognition to married couples only." Read full opinion HERE.

According to Stanley Kurtz at the Hoover Institution, himself, along with Ettelbrick and Polikoff and other family law advocates, hope to use gay marriage to pave the way for the legalization of group marriage and the concomitant demise of all family categories:

"By ceasing to conceive of marriage as a partnership composed of one person of each sex, the state may become more receptive to units of three or more....All desirable changes in family law need not be made at once." (Stanley Kurtz, "Beyond Gay Marriage," Weekly Standard, August 4-11, 2003, pp. 26-33).

I am against same-sex marriages, however, I am a strong advocate for more rights for the homosexual community. This opinion is not new because it has been said and explained by me many times in various posts. I firmly believe that gay men and lesbian women are oppressed by society, mainly because there behaviors are unacceptable to what society views as "normal". This may be true, but on the other hand, we all need to learn to live together, but under better terms that is pleasing to both sides of the marriage issue.

I feel that the benefits that proponents of same-sex marriages are looking for fall under the Benefits Fairness Act. (Click HERE to read more about this act. ) A lot of same-sex supporters think that this act only further proclaims them as "secondary class citizens", it does however give them the many freedoms of marriage without redefining an institution.

We must come to some sort of middle ground, otherwise there will always be unnecessary strife and differences in opinion that will just further worsen the situation unless we can live together with a reasonable compromise.

As a final thought, what are some other compromises that we can come up with in order to please both sides on the marriage issue?
