The Legacy Continues

The founding father of same-sex "marriages", Mitt Romney, would of been proud of the recent Gay Youth Pride Day and prom held on May 9, 2009 at Boston City Hall. If it was not for Mitt, than all 12 and 14 year-old boys and girls would not of had the chance to observe, or maybe experience, the dangerous lifestyles of homosexuality at this event.
Thanks Mitt!!
Click HERE to read about a very disturbing prom held in Boston last month.
One question regarding this event: Why is a 45 year-old man allowed to promote "bondage discipline and sado-masochism" classes and a "Kinky Kamp" to 14 and 15 year-old boys and girls at a prom?? How is that legal?? ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Below is the business card that Mr. Boston handed out to children as they entered the prom at Boston City Hall:

Well, WND is about as reliable as Weekly World News. However if what they are reporting here is factual without embellishment I must agree that it is wrong. As a parent I would be violently irate if I found my son at a party or prom of this sort even when he was 17. Then I would start looking like David Parker.

I'll say this, if Mitt Romney tries for 2012 I won't care about our differences, I'll help you promote your anti-gay hate about him being the father of gay marriage so I don't have to see him as President.

He would use his position to aid his religious agenda and that is something those who are not Mormon should understand as dangerous.

Not only is WND unreliable, they are using as their sourse Massresistance! Doubly unreliable!

Still, I do question having kids younger than 16 at a prom type event at all. And having the leather guy as a chaperone was probably not the best decision.

Most of the other stuff sounds like anti-gay rhetoric to me.

Thank-you Ken and Rufus for answering the question:

Anonymous and John:

Can you articulate a thought in order to answer the question?

I looked at MassResistance's hard hitting expose of the event. I was shocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

All those teenagers having fun, not getting beat up by the high school sadists they have to deal with. Shocking!!!!!!!!!!

All those horrible fashion disasters! It's almost as bad as a heterosexual Halloween party. Shocking!!!!! Appalling!!!!!

And then I read the blow-by-blow account by Brian Camenker's homosexual son. Shocking!!!! To think that teen agers were kissing!!! Oh, the horror!!!! I am sure that all of these horrors, such as dancing and kissing, were the work of Satan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and to answer your banal question about why that guy is allowed "promote" his bondage stuff to kids, I would have to go with "Because this is America, you putz." Welcome to the land of the First Amendment. Did the guy make a pass at a kid? God forbid. At least he wasn't on line soliciting a 13 year old girl who was actually a cop. That would be good ol' fashioned heterosexuality at work, and would be completely defensible, fiven the limited intellect that you seem to have.

Take your fake conservative control-freak shock and horror and use your moral meathooks to jam it down someone else's throat.

I can't speak for anyone else like the anonymous person but I will say that if I had put the prom together I would have been a little more conservative than to have Mr. Leather there.

That said I think it was very telling that the Boston Police were the first to defend the prom by saying they had undercover cops there and if anyone was smoking pot they would have known. They even went further to say that whoever said this may have their own agenda agains the GLBT.

This talking point is from the article you quoted in this thread.

What concerns you about Mr. Leather?

Scia asked why.

Now I only have this article to go on, and so I am relying on it to be accurate. I would be irate at the heavy petting, the drugs and the person advertising his “class” on BDSM. I am not very articulate on the new terminology used by young people today. Sometimes I “hook up” with my brother. But after hearing how it’s used today to mean sex even though when I use it I mean getting together and hanging out. Just being casual with friends. That said, heavy petting to me is the act of kissing or sucking on the breasts or chest. Not something I would recommend kids just starting to explore their sexuality do in public. Drugs right or wrong are illegal. I did not permit my son to use drugs with my knowledge. If he used them behind my back (so to speak) it was beyond my control. If another adult knew my son was habitually using drugs I would expect them to inform me. And last but not least Mr. Leather. I don’t find BDSM wrong, immoral or perverted. It is however not something youths should be trying when their sexual knowledge is so limited. I might attend this man’s class just to help spice up things in my bedroom, but teenagers don’t need spicing up. At least I hope not yet. Find someone special first; then go crazy wild all you can. It works best when you know, trust and love your partner and being so young I find it difficult to imagine that their partner could fulfill those requirements.

Scia, I don't agree with having Mr. Leather there because he is a poor representation of what GLBT life is like. He is a stereotype that disturbs other GLBT people who live their lives as anyone else does with the exception of our sexuality.

Hey Scia:

Obama is going to announce equal treatment of same-sex partners of Federal employees vis a vis benefits.

How do you like them apples, punk?
