America Abandoned by God

This is an unbelievable video. Click HERE

Enjoy.
Next post: How the truth about Mitt Romney & Pro-"Family" organizations like Mass. Family Institute got Gregg fired. Seems like the "smoking gun" is too hot to handle.

John MacArthur is spreading the hate through fear and extremism. Aynone who can agree with this man should ask themself what kind of person they are inside. MacArthur goes on to refer to Asians as "orientals". Things are oriental, like a rug, people are "Asian".

Using the wrong word shows no respect for the people you are referrencing, but the issue is not one of ignorance.

When you deliberately call someone a name you know offends them you are not only a bigot, you're a hater. All MacArthur does is tone down the same sermon Fred Phelps uses.

I expect people from this blog (affiliated with the certified hate group MassResistance.com) to support his sermons and hate, they just needed to repackage it so that it sells better.

John,

Instead of worrying about what MacArthur thinks about rugs, can you refute anything he is saying?

How ignorant of you to dismiss the prejudice he brings, that speaks poorly of you SCIA. Even if you don't respect GLBT people you don't have to defend racism, you're better than this aren't you?

I'll let his own words speak for him. He says that God has forsaken us because of our tolerance of other citizen's sexual liberties. Are we supposed to control the behavior we don't approve of?

I thought we lived in America, where everyone has the right to speak and live freely. What I'm pointing out here is that he isn't simply speaking against marriage equality, this guy is speaking against liberty.

Do you believe in liberty? Where does your neighbor's liberty end and your rights begin?

How is his fear based motivation any different than the message Fred Phelps brings?

John MacArthur is just another in a long string of right-wing fundamentalist religious wackaloons who have been preaching fire and brimstone and damnation (oh my) since before Jonathan Edwards stuck all those sinners in the hands of his angry Space God.

This video is not unbelievable. It's completely believable, but too pathetic for words.

John,

You really confuse me.

Do you think God accepts homosexual sin or do you think he can "tolerate" it and that is your translation of Him accepting it? What are you actually citing that tells others God accepts your sexual sin?

You said:

"Are we supposed to control the behavior we don't approve of?"

Who said anything about controling behaviors? Christ is the one in control here John and I pray everyday that you can understand that and ask Him for forgiveness for your continued sexual sins that you practice on a daily basis. You have literally spat in Christ's face with your continued sinful lifestyle. I know you realize that, but you are so marinated in your stubborn sin that you not only seek justification for it daily, but on the flip side, deep down within you, you are thirsty for the truth. The truth that only Christ can shine a light upon for you.

John,

I sin like crazy everyday and I beg Christ for His forgiveness at the end of the day. After I am forgiven I make damn well sure that those sins that were committed are not repeated.

I can not justify my sins. How are you justifying yours? What are you using as a foundation to justify your sexual sins?

If you want to e-mail privately on this e-mail me at Knowthyfacts @yahoo.com. I give you, and Christ, my word I will not blog the e-mails. This is an important issue that you and I need to discuss privately or out in the open.

In Him,

SCia & staff

There is nothing I want to say that needs to be hidden from other people. Feel free to ask me to stay on subject if you want but I see no useful purpose to go private with our conversation.

Our directions were simplified by Christ when he said the two most important commandments were to love God and love thy neighbor.

I don't believe language translators got the wording right. There seems to be a lot of confusion over certain words that would change greatly the meaning of the text.

In the end it comes down to the fact that I don't believe God would create homosexuality if He didn't approve of it. Why would He put such a cross to bear on people? Why would there be gay animals? It seems we are missing something.

Perhaps it is you that is being tested. Perhaps He wants to see just how loving you can be to neighbors with whom you disagree. I know in my heart that God loves me and I believe He has put my mind in motion against others who would deny respect to GLBT people solely based on their sexuality.

God, Scia, you are so pompous and holier than thou! Who are you to judge? And don't regurgitate the same old Bible passages that you twist and turn to fit your own little agenda.

John,

You said:

That goes along with: "in the end it comes down to the fact that I don't believe God would create murder, rape, greed, ect if He didn't approve of it"

John, how does that make sense?? Are you saying Christ died such that others could conduct homosexual sin...Christ died for others to commit sin...think about that. No, John, Christ died and put up the ultimate sacrifice to put sin to death, not to advocate and glorify it.

Christ's two great commandments.

Genesis 19:5 says, "And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us, that we may know them." -King James version

People usually interpret the the word "know" as meaning "to have sex with." Some people claim that the people of Sodom and Gomorrah were punished because the men of the town "knew" other men.

Another common passage that folks cite is Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."

The term is "arsenokoite." Some say that it is a reference to male prostitutes rather than to two committed homosexuals.

There are over 5,000 versions of the Bible out there, you can find ones that have the words changed to say what you support, but the truth be known there is room for doubt.

I believe God intends for us to find a way to work together on what we can regardless of our differences. I also believe He wants us to show each other respect via agape love.

I never asked anyone to change their minds on how they view homosexuality, nor have I asked people to remain silent. On the contrary I believe the dialog helps the community as a whole because it brings attention where it's needed.

The only thing I've asked of my opponents is that we conduct our discussions respectfully, this is an expectation I admit I've violated too. You'll notice when you approach me in a respectful manner I reciprocate.

Who are you quoting here? These aren't my words. I resent the comparison of homosexuality to crimes, which it is not.

I think it is a reasonable expectation that we agree to disagree and find a way to live in peace.

I'm finding it hard to believe that a well organized office with a full staff would have to take this long to respond to what I've said. Are you sure you are being truthful in your representations here SCIA? I'm still waiting to hear what you have to say next...

Hey,
Checking back in. Still crazy, I see. I love consistency. Certainly an interesting approach in your continued criticism of Romney and Mineau. Enemies are everywhere!
